I have worked with a wide range of faith schools, the outcomes and process of course being the same as for other school projects, but the mosaics often include a religious theme:
- Murals with Jesus usually based on a child’s sketch
- A Cross or Crucifix, within a larger mural or as a separate piece
- Bible stories, e.g. creation, loaves and fishes, Noah’s Ark, etc
- A Nativity image and/or an empty tomb to represent both Christmas and Easter
Floor murals including a wide range of themes, from bible stories, to praying hands, candle, angel, etc.- The seven sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, Anointing of the sick, Reconciliation, Marriage, Holy orders
- The Station of the Cross
- Values (also see school values)
- With regards to other faiths, creating a RAINBOW TREE mural which represents how all faiths are linked together by using a tree with rainbow leaves
